Designer. YouTuber. Sketchnote artist. Writer. Design mentor.
I write about UX UI product design, self-development, solopreneurship, and side projects.
I have 10 years of experience making thousands of users' digital experiences more enjoyable. My greatest strengths are making sense of complexity with an analytical approach & designing intuitive interfaces that encompass user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility. I honed my skills across a diverse set of industries and digital products with an adventurous spirit, including an award-winning mobile website builder, a revolutionary hospital service design, and a modern cloud-based e-commerce & analytics tool. Recent New Zealand Government projects focused on climate change and simplifying the oddly complex pet export service. I also led two UX projects for the new Landonline product at Toitū Te Whenua Land Information New Zealand. I'm currently working full-time at Stuff as a UX Architect. My night passion is my art and craftwork, which can take on many forms, including writing, video making, painting etc. I constantly learn new skills...who knows what comes next? I'm always up for opportunities to consult, write, and collaborate creatively or share thoughts over a cup of (virtual) coffee. I would love to hear from you. I'm an open networker, please reach out to me on LinkedIn or Twitter. Check out the services I provide if you're looking for help with your project.
